About Alaska salmon preseason forecast, 2026

This is ADF&G's preseason commercial harvest forecast for 2026, from the April "Run Forecasts and Harvest Projections" report, by fishing area and species in thousands of fish. It is the benchmark for the season scoreboard: the live Blue Sheet harvest is measured against these numbers. The forecast is ADF&G's, reported as published and never adjusted here. Some cells carry no projection (an area or species ADF&G does not forecast), and area totals are ADF&G's own where the report prints one, otherwise the sum of the species projections.
