The data

Season scoreboard

The flagship: how far Alaska's commercial salmon harvest has come against the preseason forecast, ranked by fishing area. The percent of forecast is the share of the full-season projection landed so far, the cumulative Blue Sheet harvest over ADF&G's April forecast.

Run summary

Bristol Bay day by day: the cumulative commercial harvest by district, off ADF&G's Blue Sheet, with what each district added since the last report and when it was first published. Harvest only. Escapement and total-run counts stay with ADF&G's own Bristol Bay daily run summary, which this page links.

Areas

Each ADF&G management area, Bristol Bay, Prince William Sound, Southeast and the rest, with its cumulative harvest by species, its forecast and its percent of forecast, plus the last published ex-vessel prices where ADF&G has them. Bristol Bay also carries the by-district drill-down.

Species

Each species, sockeye, pink, chum, coho and Chinook, with the statewide cumulative harvest against the forecast, broken out by fishing area. Sockeye are the value engine of the season even when pinks drive the fish count.
